TFF decides to postpone second and third league matches
As new arrests take place within the scope of an illegal betting operation, the TFF has decided to postpone second and third league matches for two weeks.
Following the arrests made as part of the illegal betting operation, a postponement decision has come from the TFF. The official statement included the following expressions:
With the decision of the TFF Board of Directors dated 10.11.2025, it has been decided to shift the TFF 2nd League and TFF 3rd League match fixtures by 2 weeks. TFF Super League and TFF 1st League matches will continue to be played as previously announced.
The disciplinary referral procedures for 47 football players, who were observed to have engaged in betting activity only once, will be evaluated within the framework of new evidence and information to be obtained as a result of the response documents to come from the relevant institutions, in order to avoid irreparable damages.
Correspondence between the Turkish Football Federation and official institutions is ongoing, and the investigation will be expanded and continued according to the responses received.
EXTRAORDINARY MEETING DECISION
The TFF announced that it has decided to hold an extraordinary meeting tomorrow at 17:00 following the developments.
