In the 84th minute of the Kayserispor - Fatih Karagümrük match, referee Atilla Karaoğlan stopped play on the grounds that Eray Özbek had committed a foul on Sofiane Feghouli. After reviewing the position on the monitor following a VAR intervention, Karaoğlan showed a direct red card to Feghouli.
In the 72nd minute of the Antalyaspor - Pendikspor match, the VAR issued a warning to referee Tugay Kaan Numanoğlu. After watching the incident on the monitor, Numanoğlu showed a red card to Sander Van de Streek for his foul play against Erdem Özgenç, sending him off the pitch.
