TFF said 'injured', he quit refereeing!
The TFF announced that a referee change was made for the Ümraniyespor - Bodrum FK match due to an injury to assistant referee Baran Eraslan. Eraslan, in a statement on his social media account, announced that he has ended his refereeing career.

The TFF announced that a change was made to the assistant referee for the match due to an injury to Baran Eraslan, who had been appointed as an assistant referee.
The statement made by the TFF is as follows:
"A change has been made to the assistant referee for the Ümraniyespor – Bodrum FK match to be played on February 3, 2024, in the Trendyol 1. Lig. Due to an injury to assistant referee Baran Eraslan, who was assigned via digital appointment, Kemal Elmas has been appointed in his place. We respectfully announce this to the public and convey our best wishes for a speedy recovery to our referee."
HE QUIT REFEREEING
Baran Eraslan announced that he has quit refereeing in a statement on his social media account. Eraslan wrote on his social media account, "As of today, I have put an end to my refereeing life, which began in 2000. I would like to thank all my mentors, friends, and colleagues, especially my family, who have a great contribution to my journey. I would also like to thank my elders who are devoid of justice and do not know what is right or lawful."
