The Turkish Football Federation has announced that the status regulations for the 2024-2025 Trendyol Super League season have been approved, and accordingly, players holding a blue card will continue to play under domestic status for the duration of their contracts. The relevant article in the decree is as follows:

"In addition to the players who are not eligible to play for the Turkish National Football Team and are included in the A-Team List as stipulated in the first paragraph, clubs may include 1 player who was registered in the A-Team List in the 2023-2024 season as a citizen of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, or Turkmenistan, and 1 player who is not eligible to play for the Turkish National Football Team but is registered in the A-Team List as a Turkish citizen or blue card holder, in the A-Team List within the scope of Article 2, paragraph e, due to their acquired rights until the end of their contract periods.

In the event that these players' contracts expire, any extensions, contract renewals, or new contracts signed with other clubs will be registered under the category of players not eligible to play for the A-National Team and will be included in the A-Team List accordingly."
