TFF Vice President Ceyhun Kazancı resigns following derby decision
TFF Vice President Ceyhun Kazancı has resigned due to the decision not to appoint a foreign referee for the Beşiktaş-Galatasaray derby.
The question of who would officiate the Beşiktaş-Galatasaray derby, to be played in the 29th week of the Süper Lig, had been a subject of debate for a long time. Following Slavko Vincic officiating the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe match, the Beşiktaş side had requested the appointment of foreign referees for derbies.
The TFF management discussed the derby referee issue during their meeting. The majority of the board members expressed their support for a domestic referee and granted full authority to President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu for the final decision.

It has been determined that Hacıosmanoğlu decided for a domestic referee to officiate the Beşiktaş-Galatasaray derby.
Following this disagreement, it is reported that Ceyhun Kazancı has decided to resign from his position at the TFF.
