In the EURO 2024 semi-final, England defeated the Netherlands 2-1 with a 90th-minute goal to become Spain's opponent in the final.

The Netherlands took the lead with a goal in the 7th minute of the match. Xavi Simons pressured Declan Rice to win the ball, then struck a magnificent goal from outside the penalty area, giving the Netherlands a 1-0 lead.

England won a penalty in the 22nd minute of the match. Harry Kane went down in the penalty area following a challenge by Denzel Dumfries. After a VAR review, the referee pointed to the penalty spot.

Harry Kane stepped up to take the penalty and found the back of the net to bring the score to 1-1.

After the penalty goal, England came very close to a second goal. Phil Foden entered the penalty area, dribbled past his opponents with a series of classy moves, and took a shot, but Dumfries cleared the ball off the line, preventing a certain goal.

Although the Netherlands came very close to scoring in the 30th minute with Denzel Dumfries, the Inter player's header hit the post.

In the 32nd minute, Phil Foden's shot from outside the penalty area hit the post.

The first half of the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

England's goal scored by Bukayo Saka in the 79th minute was disallowed after a VAR review.

Ollie Watkins, who entered the game in the 81st minute, put England ahead 2-1 with his strike in the 90th minute.

There were no more goals in the remainder of the match, and England left the pitch with a 2-1 victory.

Spain and England will face each other in the EURO 2024 final on July 14.
