The great danger awaiting Beşiktaş...

In Beşiktaş, one crisis ends only for another to begin. Following the resignation of Hasan Arat, the dismissal of Head Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, and the allegations raised by Samet Aybaba, the club is now facing a 50 million Euro payment problem.

50 MILLION EUROS IN PAYMENTS REQUIRED

Sinan Engin, who previously served as General Manager at Beşiktaş, shared details of his conversation with the club's new president, Hüseyin Yücel, during a television program where he works as a commentator. Engin stated, "Beşiktaş needs to make payments of nearly 50 million Euros by January. Hüseyin Yücel is deeply concerned, asking, 'A bomb has been left for us, how are we going to pay this?'"

This payment is mandatory to meet UEFA's Financial Fair Play (FFP) criteria. It is noted that if the debt, which also includes salary payments, is not settled, Beşiktaş could face the risk of being banned from European competitions. The black-and-white club received a ban from UEFA for a similar reason in 2013.

FINANCIAL CRISIS UNDERWAY

It is reported that the club management is continuing its search for resources to resolve the crisis. However, current economic conditions and the lack of success in the football team are making the process even more difficult.
