ENGLISH CLUBS HOLD FINANCIAL SUPERIORITY
According to the report, the squad value of four clubs in Europe exceeded 1 billion Euros in 2024. These clubs were listed as Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal from the English Premier League.
When salary budgets are also taken into account, it is notable that 9 of the 20 most expensive clubs are from England.
CHELSEA BREAKS REAL MADRID'S RECORD
In 2020, Real Madrid set a record with a squad value of 1.3 billion Euros. However, Chelsea made history in 2024 by surpassing this record with a squad value of 1.6 billion Euros. The English club has reached a new peak in this area.
In 2024, the most valuable clubs following Chelsea were listed as Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Real Madrid, respectively.
