Samsunspor has determined its new manager following a coaching change. The Black Sea representative announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with Croatian manager Nenad Bjelica until the end of the season.
In the announcement made by the club, it was stated that Bjelica and his staff will arrive in Samsun today via a private jet. The statement noted that further developments regarding the process will be shared with the public separately.
The 55-year-old manager previously worked in Turkey at Trabzonspor. During his tenure at Trabzonspor between April and October 2023, Bjelica managed 16 matches, recording 8 wins and 8 losses.
With Bjelica's arrival at Samsunspor, a notable managerial swap has emerged in the Süper Lig. While former Trabzonspor manager Bjelica takes charge of Samsunspor, former Samsunspor manager Thomas Reis is currently serving at Trabzonspor.
