Famous businessman Acun Ilıcalı is preparing to acquire a new club. It has been reported that Ilıcalı intends to purchase Maribor, a team from the Slovenian league.
It is claimed that businessman and owner of English Championship side Hull City, Acun Ilıcalı, is continuing preparations to acquire another football club. Having previously considered buying a team in Greece, Ilıcalı has now turned his route toward Slovenia.
According to a report by Nogo Mania, Acun Ilıcalı has begun negotiations to purchase Maribor.

Speaking to Nogo Mania, a Maribor executive stated, "We are in discussions with potential buyers. We cannot make any statement to the press until nothing is finalized."
