The play-off battle for EURO 2024 begins
The final 3 teams to compete in the European Football Championship (EURO 2024) to be held in Germany will be determined following the play-off matches starting tomorrow.
While the groups for EURO 2024 have been set, the final 3 teams to qualify for the championship will come from the play-offs.
The 6 semi-final matches, in which 12 teams will compete, will be played tomorrow, and the winners will advance to the finals.
The 3 teams that win these matches will earn their tickets to the European Championship following the final matches on March 26.
All play-off matches will be single-leg elimination games. If the score is tied at the end of regulation time, the match will go to extra time and, if necessary, a penalty shootout.
The final opponent of the A National Football Team, which will be in Group F at EURO 2024 alongside Portugal and Czechia, will come from the play-off Path C; it will be one of the Georgia-Luxembourg / Greece-Kazakhstan teams.
