National shooter Yusuf Dikeç, who won a silver medal alongside his teammate Şevval İlayda Tarhan at the Paris 2024 Olympics by shooting without specialized equipment and with one hand in his pocket—unlike his competitors—continues to capture the world's attention.
After his victory, Dikeç opened an account on the X platform and reached out yesterday to the platform's owner, US billionaire Elon Musk.
Inviting Elon Musk to Istanbul, Yusuf Dikeç asked, "Hi Elon, do you think future robots will be able to win medals at the Olympics with their hands in their pockets? How about we discuss this in Istanbul, the cultural capital that connects continents?"
Elon Musk replied to Yusuf Dikeç, saying, "Robots will hit the center of the target every time. I look forward to visiting Istanbul. It is one of the great cities of the world."
Musk had previously shared the famous photo of Dikeç taken during his shot and wrote, "Nice."
