The Stefano Pioli era is coming to an end at Milan

In Italian Serie A, Milan may part ways with manager Stefano Pioli following a series of unsuccessful results.

According to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Milan management has decided to review Stefano Pioli's future following the 2-2 draw against the league's bottom-placed side, Salernitana.

The report states that the club's owners were very angry due to the Salernitana match, and that Pioli's post-match comment, 'We have lost the magic in the team,' was not well-received by the management.

On the other hand, the report also notes that the opinions of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was recently appointed to a consultancy role, will be sought regarding a potential managerial change.

Milan, currently in 3rd place in the Italian Serie A with 33 points, has fallen behind its title rivals Juventus and Inter.
