The Sultans of the Net go five for five
Defeating the Dominican Republic without dropping a set, the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team has gone five for five in the 2025 Women's Nations League.
Having completed the first week of the 2025 Women's Volleyball Nations League with a 4-0 record, the Sultans of the Net faced the Dominican Republic at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall in their first match of the second week.
Winning the match 3-0 with set scores of 27-25, 25-19, and 28-26, the Sultans of the Net have gone 5 for 5 in the 2025 Women's Nations League. For the Crescent-Stars, Hande Baladın scored 14 points, while Melissa Vargas recorded 12.
The match was attended by 14,487 spectators.
The national team will face Canada, South Korea, and Brazil in the remaining matches of the second week of the 2025 Women's Nations League.
