According to the report by La Voix du Nord, the incident took place on Monday, April 21, around 15:30. Yusuf Yazıcı heard knocking on the front door of his home in Marcq-en-Baroeul and immediately called the police.
Following Yazıcı's call, the police arrived at the scene immediately and caught and arrested the burglars before they could enter the house.
The national football player shared a post about the incident on his social media account.
