In the Trendyol Süper Lig, Trabzonspor manager Thomas Reis has achieved a significant statistic in a short period after defeating Beşiktaş 2-0. The German coach, who has won all three of his first league matches at the helm of the claret-blue team, has gone down in club history as the first foreign manager to achieve this feat.
Reis, who took office following the departure of Fatih Tekke, has drawn attention with the momentum he has built with the team. While Trabzonspor has maintained its winning streak under Reis in both league and official matches, the 2-0 result against Beşiktaş stands out as one of the most notable links in this start.
The claret-blues defeated Galatasaray 4-0, Samsunspor 3-0 away, and Beşiktaş 2-0 in their Süper Lig matches during the Reis era. This streak has enabled the German coach to make a strong start to his Trabzonspor career.
Trabzonspor's official matches under Reis also include a 4-2 victory against KuPS. Thus, the claret-blue team has displayed a consistent performance in scoring and achieving results in the matches played under their new manager.
