Tolunay Kafkas is the new manager of Fatih Karagümrük!
Following the resignation of Shota Arveladze at Fatih Karagümrük, an agreement has been reached with Tolunay Kafkas for the managerial position.
Süper Lig manager Shota Arveladze has resigned from Fatih Karagümrük following the team's 5-1 defeat to Trabzonspor in yesterday's match during the 29th week of the season. Tolunay Kafkas has been brought in to replace the Georgian coach at the red-and-black club.
In a statement released on Karagümrük's social media account, it was stated, "Our club has reached an agreement with Tolunay Kafkas for the position of manager. We wish him success in his new role."
Kafkas most recently managed Ankaragücü. The 55-year-old coach left the capital city team last October after a 7-month tenure. During his time with Ankaragücü, Tolunay Kafkas recorded 6 wins, 5 draws, and 9 losses in 20 matches.
