Toprak Razgatlıoğlu becomes world champion for the 2nd time
Toprak Razgatlıoğlu finished second in the first race of the 2024 World Superbike Championship held in Spain, bringing his points total to 493 and securing his second world championship title.
The 12th and final round of the WSBK season is being held on October 19-20 at the 4.423-kilometer-long Circuito de Jerez track in Spain.
In the first race of the season's final leg, national motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlıoğlu managed to cross the checkered flag in 2nd place and declared his championship.
Although Toprak Razgatlıoğlu's closest rival, Italian Nicolo Bulega, won the race, the national motorcycle racer, who kept the point gap above 37, guaranteed the championship regardless of the results of the races to be held tomorrow.
