Toprak Razgatlıoğlu: My biggest goal is the World Championship!

Having left the Pata Yamaha Prometeon team after four seasons and signed a 2-year deal with the Rokit BMW team, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu finished last season's World Championship in 2nd place behind Spanish rider Alvaro Bautista.

Having completed his preparations, the national motorcycle racer wants to make a strong start to the championship by winning the first race of the season, which will be held in Australia from February 23-25, with his new team.

"WE HAVE TURNED A NEW PAGE"

In his statement, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu said that the point gap widened after he crashed during a race last season, but he did not give up the fight until the very last moment.

Pointing out that he will start the new season with a new team, Razgatlıoğlu stated that he signed with the Rokit BMW team for his major goals, adding that it is very difficult to reach a championship without a clear goal.

The national motorcycle racer stated that they are starting everything over with Rokit BMW, saying, "We have turned a new page. BMW is not a brand that has been a world champion in motorcycles to date. Our biggest goal is to become world champion with a BMW motorcycle. Hopefully, we will reach that goal."

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu expressed that the training sessions have been going well and that they are looking forward to the season with excitement, adding, "It is enjoyable to train with Kenan (Sofuoğlu), Deniz, Can, and Bahattin. You learn something every day. It is a meaningful training session. Instead of doing it alone, it is in a race format, which makes it even more demanding."

Reiterating that they want to make a good start to the season, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu added that the new season of the World Superbike Championship can be followed on Red Bull TV.
