Tottenham wins UEFA Europa League for the 3rd time
In the UEFA Europa League final, which featured an all-English matchup, Tottenham defeated Manchester United 1-0 to lift the trophy for the 3rd time.
In the UEFA Europa League final, Tottenham and Manchester United faced off at San Mames Stadium in Spain. In the 42nd minute of the match, officiated by German referee Felix Zwayer, Tottenham took a 1-0 lead with a goal from Johnson, and the first half ended with that score. As neither team could find the back of the net in the second half, Tottenham won the match 1-0 and became the champion.

Sevilla won the tournament twice in 2006 and 2007, and three times in a row in 2014, 2015, and 2016, celebrating the title a total of 7 times to sit at the top.

Following Sevilla, Tottenham and Liverpool from England, Atletico Madrid from Spain, and Juventus and Inter from Italy have lifted this trophy for the 3rd time.
