Towards the election at Fenerbahçe: Name on Aziz Yıldırım's list announces support for Ali Koç

All eyes at Fenerbahçe are on the elective ordinary general assembly to be held on June 9.

With only a few days left until the critical congress, a written statement came from Kemal Fatih Aslan, who was included on presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım's board of directors list.

Stating that he was included on Aziz Yıldırım's list without his knowledge and without any consultation with him, Aslan said, "I am sharing that I will support our presidential candidate Mr. Ali Koç in our Ordinary Elective General Assembly."

The full statement by Aslan is as follows:

"Dear Fenerbahçe Family,

On May 23, 2024, I learned that I was on the board of directors list of one of our presidential candidates, Mr. Aziz Yıldırım.

It is an honor for me that Mr. Aziz Yıldırım included me on his list.

However, my name was added to the list without my knowledge and without any consultation with me.

I am sharing that I will not be on Mr. Aziz Yıldırım's list and that I will support our presidential candidate Mr. Ali Y. Koç in our ordinary elective general assembly.

I wish both candidates success in our congress.
