4-goal victory for Trabzonspor
Trabzonspor advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Başakşehir 4-2 in their final match of the Ziraat Turkish Cup Group A.
In the match played at Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium, the goals that brought victory to the claret-blue team were scored by Felipe Augusto in the 6th minute, Mustafa Eskihellaç in the 69th minute, Paul Onuachu in the 83rd minute, and Ozan Tufan in the 84th minute.
Başakşehir's goals came from Nuno Da Costa in the 46th minute and Ivan Brnic in the 66th minute.
Finishing the group stage in second place with 9 points after 3 wins and 1 loss, Trabzonspor secured their ticket to the quarterfinals.
Defending champion Galatasaray, which went 4 for 4 by defeating Corendon Alanyaspor 2-1 in Group A, finished at the top with 12 points and advanced to the quarterfinals.
Alanyaspor finished the group stage in third place with 7 points.
