The statement included the following:

"We have signed a contract with our Head Coach Abdullah Avcı. As a result of the unanimous decision taken by our board of directors, a contract has been signed with our Head Coach Abdullah Avcı. Avcı, who won a total of 3 trophies during his first tenure at our club—1 League title and 2 Super Cups—signed a blank contract without specifying any conditions during his meeting with our President Ertuğrul Doğan.
