Trabzonspor bids farewell to Europa League with 4-goal defeat
Trabzonspor was defeated 4-0 by Hungary's Ferencvaros in the UEFA Europa League play-off round second leg and dropped to the UEFA Conference League.
Having lost 1-0 to Ferencvaros in the first leg, Trabzonspor lost 4-0 in the return match. With this result, the burgundy-blue team qualified for the league phase of the UEFA Conference League.
In the burgundy-blue team, Malinovskyi and Cabral were shown red cards during the match.
Folcarelli, Okay Yokuşlu, and Batagov, who are still undergoing treatment, as well as the suspended Nwaiwu, were unable to play for Trabzonspor.

Fabinho, Draguş, Mendny, Lundstram, Cihan Çanak, and Göktan Gürpüz, who were not included in the UEFA squad list, were also absent from the roster.
