The statement read, "The transfer of Mohamed Salah to our Club has created great excitement both in the sports community and worldwide; however, it has come to our attention that following the transfer, some businesses have begun using Salah's images, name, and the Trabzonspor jersey for commercial advertisements and campaigns.
The fact that Salah plays for Trabzonspor does not grant third parties the right to use Salah's name and images for commercial purposes.
In particular, the use of Salah's images in the promotion of products and services, the creation of an impression in the public eye of any commercial cooperation or endorsement, and the derivation of commercial benefit from Trabzonspor's brand and image values are legally unacceptable.
It is clear that such uses may violate not only the player's personality and image rights but also Trabzonspor's brand rights, commercial reputation, and the economic values held by the club.
For this reason, advertisements and commercial uses that violate the rights of Salah and Trabzonspor are being recorded by our club, and we hereby inform the public that necessary legal and criminal applications will be made regarding the identified violations.
Love for football and fandom do not constitute a justification for the unauthorized use of legally protected rights for commercial purposes."
