Trabzonspor defeated 2-1 by Alanyaspor
In the 14th week of the Trendyol Super League, Trabzonspor visited Alanyaspor. The burgundy-blue team lost 2-1 to Alanyaspor in a match where they had taken the lead.
Starting the match quickly, Şenol Güneş's students took the lead in the 8th minute with a goal from Denis Draguş: 0-1. Alanyaspor responded to this goal in the 44th minute with a penalty goal from Florent Hadergjonaj, and the teams went to the locker rooms tied at 1-1.
Entering the second half quickly, the Mediterranean team took a 2-1 lead in the 50th minute with a goal from Antonio Augusto: 2-1. In the 70th minute, Alanyaspor's Yusuf Özdemir was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, leaving his team with 10 men.
Unable to find a goal in the remaining minutes against their shorthanded opponent, Trabzonspor lost the match 2-1 and failed to capitalize on the chance to climb the standings. The Black Sea Storm, which has yet to win an away game this season and has suffered its 4th defeat in the last 5 matches, remained at 15 points.
Alanyaspor, ending a 3-match winless streak in the league, increased its points to 14 and moved out of the relegation zone.
