Trabzonspor emphasizes 'the structure'

In a statement released on the burgundy-blue club's website, it was claimed that another blow was dealt to the honor of Turkish football in Alanya.

The statement, which alleged that the decisions made during the match turned not only the game but also the values of football upside down, included the following:

"What happened here is a mirror of a deep-rooted systemic problem rather than individual errors. As Trabzonspor Club, we are now voicing the truths loudly. This distorted order does not stem solely from the incompetence of referees. The structures behind these decisions are the TFF and the MHK, which disregard the fundamental principles of Turkish football. The TFF and the MHK have completely lost their ability to ensure justice in Turkish football.

What happened this evening has once again shown how deep the incompetence, inconsistency, and organized system of interests have become. Systems used for justice, such as VAR technology, have today turned into playgrounds for power brokers. It is clear that these structures are harming not only Trabzonspor but the integrity of all Turkish football.

We are stating it very clearly now; the TFF and the MHK hold no authority for us. These institutions, far from ensuring justice, have completely destroyed the trust in Turkish football. As Trabzonspor, we will never allow our hard work to be squandered so recklessly."

The statement concluded with the following remarks: "This call is directed not only at today but also at the future. In an order where there is no justice, what is imposed as an order is merely chaos. Trabzonspor will continue to be the standard-bearer for the struggle for fairness and merit in Turkish football and will continue its fight against this rotten structure with determination."
