Trabzonspor fans gathered in front of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) building in Trabzon to protest against refereeing decisions that came to the fore following the match between Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor. The fans called on Central Referee Board (MHK) Chairman Ferhat Gündoğdu to resign.

Gathering in front of the TFF building, the burgundy-blue fans expressed their reaction by unfurling a banner that read, "You promised clean football. You buried us in darkness." Speaking on behalf of the group, Trabzonspor Fans Association President Bekir Kodalak emphasized that refereeing decisions have now overshadowed the game itself.

"MHK IS PRODUCING CHAOS"

In his statement, Kodalak said, "There is no justice left in Turkish football; refereeing decisions have now overshadowed the game. What happened against Fenerbahçe has revealed not only the impasse Trabzonspor is facing but also the future of Turkish football. At this point, the greatest responsibility lies with the Central Referee Board. As fans, we call on Ferhat Gündoğdu, the head of the MHK, which fails to ensure justice in football and signs off on a new scandal every week, to resign immediately. This mentality, which produces chaos instead of fair management, has made Turkish football unbearable," he stated.

"THE PROBLEM IS NOT JUST TRABZONSPOR'S"

Stating that "It should not be forgotten that this lack of system is not just Trabzonspor's problem, but the problem of all Turkish football," Kodalak said the following:

"What happened yesterday is not a coincidence; it is the result of years of accumulated distortions and incompetence. If referees cannot distribute justice on the pitch, it is impossible to speak of the spirit of football. We are also calling out to İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, who sits in the TFF President's chair today and previously served as Trabzonspor President. If you are truly on the side of clean football, do not remain a spectator to what is happening. Take responsibility for the future of football and take steps to change this distorted order. Any mentality that turns its back on Trabzonspor's struggle for justice will cause even greater harm to Turkish football tomorrow."
