Trabzonspor's managerial candidates clarified after Tekke

Fatih Tekke, who parted ways with the club following the defeat in the Amedspor away match, had managed 48 league games after signing a 4.5-year contract with the burgundy-blue team on March 11, 2025.

Under Tekke's management, the Black Sea team achieved 26 wins, 14 draws, and 8 losses, securing a points average of 1.91.

Trabzonspor announced that former manager Hüseyin Çimşir will prepare the team for the Gençlerbirliği match.

The search for a new manager has officially begun at the burgundy-blue club.

Rudi Garcia: Worked with Mohamed Salah at Roma. Most recently, he competed in the 2026 World Cup with the Belgium National Team and has since left his post.

Abdullah Avcı: The strongest candidate among domestic names.

Vitor Pereira: The Portuguese manager most recently worked at Nottingham. The 58-year-old coach, who is currently unattached, worked at Fenerbahçe during two different periods.

Sergio Conceiçao: The 51-year-old Portuguese manager most recently served at Al-Ittihad.

Şenol Güneş: The experienced manager is a natural candidate due to being currently unattached.
