It is claimed that Trabzonspor has made significant progress in the transfer of Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez. According to the report, the Burgundy-Blues have convinced the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal following their previous agreement with the player.
Nunez is expected to join Trabzonspor on a one-year loan and arrive in Turkey today to sign the official contract. If the transfer is completed, the Uruguayan footballer will become one of the most notable names in the Burgundy-Blues' attacking line.
The Black Sea team also has Paul Onuachu in its squad. It is believed that with the arrival of Nunez, Trabzonspor will gain significant strength in its forward rotation.
The report stated that Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez, who played together at Liverpool for a period, will reunite at Trabzonspor. It was noted that the duo contributed to a total of 55 goals during their time at Liverpool, with Salah recording 34 goals and 23 assists, and Nunez recording 21 goals and 12 assists.
Meanwhile, Darwin Nunez's social media interaction, where he liked a post by Liverpool fan Isaac wearing a Trabzonspor jersey due to Salah's transfer to the club, also drew attention on social media.
