Transfer push from Trabzonspor: 2 names on the agenda!

Continuing its transfer efforts for the upcoming season and reaching the agreement stage with some players, Trabzonspor is reportedly continuing its work for defender Duje Caleta-Car, who plays for Southampton in England, and midfielder John Lundstram, whose contract with the Scottish team Rangers expires at the end of the season.

The burgundy-blue club had previously wanted Duje Caleta-Car, who transferred on loan to the French team Olympique Lyonnais at the beginning of the season after Southampton was relegated from the Premier League and began downsizing. If the player returns to England at the end of the season, Trabzonspor will accelerate its negotiations with the Southampton club. The Black Sea team had transferred Orsic and Onuachu from England's Southampton at the beginning of the season. Maintaining good relations with the English club, it is stated that Trabzonspor aims to bring the Croatian center-back, who has a contract with the English club until 2026, to Trabzon this time.

NEGOTIATIONS WITH RANGERS HAVE BEGUN

Trabzonspor is continuing its contacts for defensive midfielder and central midfielder John Lundstram, who plays for the same team, following Borna Barisic, who plays for the Scottish team Rangers. It is claimed that the burgundy-blues, seeking common ground for the English player whose contract with the Scottish team expires in May 2024, are trying to persuade the 30-year-old footballer to play outside of England.

It is also stated that Trabzonspor is closely monitoring Hector Hernandez, who plays for the Portuguese team Chaves. The striker, whose contract expires on June 30, 2024, has had a good season, scoring 13 goals in the 25 matches he played this season. The Spanish footballer can also play as a forward, right winger, and left winger.

PRIORITY ON PLAYERS WITH EXPIRING CONTRACTS

Wanting to complete its transfer efforts before the new season as soon as the current season ends, Trabzonspor is focusing on players whose contracts expire in 2024. Aiming to enter the preparation period with both experienced and young names, the Black Sea team is being linked with Mady Camara and Georgios Masouras, whose contracts with Olympiacos will expire at the end of the season, as well as Salih Uçan, whose contract with Beşiktaş will also expire at the end of the season. The performance that Orsic will display upon his return will be influential in the transfer decisions for the front line.
