Trabzonspor's qualification hopes rest on Austria
In the first leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round, Trabzonspor was defeated 1-0 at home by the Austrian side Rapid Wien.
Our representative Trabzonspor faced off against Austria's Rapid Wien in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.
The first half of the match, played at Papara Park, ended in a 0-0 draw.
Although both Trabzonspor and Rapid Wien created dangerous opportunities in the second half, it was Rapid Wien that found the goal.

In the 67th minute of the match, Lukas Grgic found the back of the net following a pass from Guido Burgstaller, putting the Austrian side 1-0 ahead.
The Bordeaux-Blues pressed for an equalizer in the remainder of the match but were unable to succeed in their attempts.

Rapid Wien left the pitch as the winning side with a 1-0 scoreline.
The return leg of this encounter will be played in Austria on Thursday, August 15.
