Tuncay Maldan, the agent for Galatasaray star Barış Alper Yılmaz, announced that a 25 million Euro offer was made for the national footballer on the final day of the transfer window, but that Galatasaray rejected it.
Barış Alper Yılmaz’s agent, Tuncay Maldan, made statements regarding the national footballer’s future.
Speaking to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Tuncay Maldan said, "On the final day of the transfer window, Nottingham Forest made a 25 million Euro offer for Barış Alper. Galatasaray rejected this offer. Throughout the transfer period, we also received official offers from England, Germany, Italy, and France."

Continuing his remarks, Tuncay Maldan stated, "Since Galatasaray wanted to continue with Barış, they did not respond to the offers received and did not demand any specific figure. Barış was one of the most important players for the team's core over the past two seasons. Galatasaray said they did not want to let Barış go, so we did not advance the negotiations. Barış Alper’s European dream continues, but for now, he is focused solely on Galatasaray’s success."
The 24-year-old footballer, who has worn the Galatasaray jersey 114 times, has recorded 13 goals and 14 assists.
