Turkey achieves historic success at Paris 2024
Turkey has reached its highest number of gold medals in the history of the games by winning its 4th gold medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Turkey has achieved historic success at the Paralympic Games held in Paris, the capital of France. On the 10th day of the games, the first gold medal in para-swimming came from Umut Ünlü. With this success by the national athlete, who won the gold medal in the 50-meter freestyle, Turkey's gold medal count at Paris 2024 rose to 4.
Having previously won 3 gold medals at Rio 2016, Turkey has now broken this record at Paris 2024.
The other gold medals for Turkey were brought home by the Women's Goalball National Team, Mahmut Bozteke in para-taekwondo, and Öznur Cüre in para-archery.

With 2 days left until the end of the games, Turkey's total medal count has reached 23, consisting of 4 gold, 10 silver, and 9 bronze medals.
