Turkish Airlines DBB Supercup: Germany: 73 - Turkey: 71
The A National Men's Basketball Team, which will compete in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025, was defeated by Germany 73-71 in its first match of the Turkish Airlines DBB Supercup.
The Crescent-Stars started the match with a lineup of Shane Larkin, Kenan Sipahi, Cedi Osman, Ercan Osmani, and Alperen Şengün. The national team finished the first quarter with a 25-17 lead and went into halftime ahead 35-28. The Crescent-Stars, who also ended the third quarter with a 51-49 lead, were unable to maintain their performance in the final quarter and left the court with a 73-71 defeat.

For the A National Men's Basketball Team, Alperen Şengün played with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Cedi Osman recorded 15 points and 3 rebounds. For Germany, Dennis Schröder scored 22 points.
The national team will face the loser of the Czech Republic/Serbia match in the tournament's third-place game on Saturday, August 16, at 19:00.
