Two Galatasaray players nominated for Champions League group stage goal of the tournament
Galatasaray's Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Tete have been named among the candidates for the best goal of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League group stage.
Among the best goals nominated by UEFA are Kerem Aktürkoğlu's goal that brought the score to 3-3 in Galatasaray's home match against Manchester United, and Tete's goal scored against Copenhagen at home.
Other candidates include goals from Braga's Bruma, Newcastle United's Joelinton, Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus, Atletico Madrid's Alvaro Morata, Young Boys' Meschack Elia, Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, Leipzig's Xavi Simons, and Manchester City's Erling Haaland.

Galatasaray finished third in Champions League Group A this season with 5 points, earning the right to continue their European campaign in the UEFA Europa League.
