UEFA announces moment of silence decision

In the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers, a one-minute moment of silence will be observed at all Euro 2024 qualifying matches tonight in memory of the two people who died in the armed attack in Brussels yesterday, before the match between Belgium and Sweden.

In a statement from UEFA, it was stated, "In memory of the two victims of the terrorist attack that took place in Brussels yesterday, a one-minute moment of silence will be observed at all Euro 2024 qualifying matches to be played tonight."

The UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying match between Belgium and Sweden, which was played yesterday, had been suspended due to the terrorist attack. The football match between Belgium and Sweden, the first half of which had been completed, was not continued because two Swedish fans lost their lives in an armed attack in Brussels just before the match started.

The suspect of the armed attack in Brussels yesterday, which resulted in the death of two Swedes, had been shot and captured, and later died in the hospital.
