Başakşehir defeated Cherno More 4-0 in the second leg of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round, advancing to the next round.
Başakşehir Manager Çağdaş Atan made statements at the press conference held after the match.
Starting his remarks by congratulating his players for their performance, Atan said, "We played a very good game in the first 45 minutes. It would be very good for us if we could finish matches like we did in the first half.
We need to play by respecting the opponent and reacting immediately to the formation. We played a near-perfect game in the first half. We need to forget this immediately and focus on the Viking matchup.
We will play against a young, dynamic team. The goal they scored and the game they played in this round have provided them with high self-confidence. They play their matches on a synthetic pitch.
We will find the best conditions there and work accordingly. We want to have a sufficient number of training sessions. We want to come back here with an advantageous score from there," he said.
