UEFA decision on Halil Umut Meler
FIFA-licensed referee Halil Umut Meler will officiate the second leg match between Sheriff and Anderlecht in the UEFA Conference League.
The Turkish Football Federation has announced that Halil Umut Meler will officiate the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round second leg match. The match, which will take place at Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau, Moldova, will begin tomorrow at 20:00 TSI.
Meler will be assisted in this important match by Deniz Caner Özaral and Abdullah Bora Özkara. Cihan Aydın will be on the pitch as the fourth official. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties will be carried out by Benjamin Brand from the German Football Association. Onur Özütoprak will serve as the AVAR.
This critical encounter between Sheriff and Anderlecht will determine which team advances to the next round of the UEFA Conference League.
