UEFA Europa League semi-finalists determined
Following the quarter-final second-leg matches in the UEFA Europa League, Freiburg, Sporting Braga, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest have advanced to the semi-finals.
The UEFA Europa League quarter-final second-leg matches were completed today, and the semi-finalists have been determined.
German side Freiburg defeated Spanish representative Celta Vigo 3-1 in the second leg, having won the first match 3-0.
Portuguese side Sporting Braga eliminated Real Betis by beating them 4-2 away from home.
Aston Villa defeated Bologna 4-0 at home. Nottingham Forest advanced by beating Porto 1-0 in the second leg, following a 1-1 draw in the first match.
Following these results, the semi-final pairings have also been determined.
