UEFA rejects Beşiktaş's appeal
Beşiktaş has announced that its appeal against a 900,000 Euro fine imposed by UEFA for violating squad cost rules during the 01.12.2023-30.11.2024 period has been rejected and the penalty has been upheld.
In a statement regarding the matter to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the black-and-white club stated, "The case regarding our company's squad cost rule violation process for the 01.12.2023-30.11.2024 period, which was ongoing at the UEFA Club Financial Control Body Appeals Chamber, has been concluded. The result of the case is as follows:
It has been decided to reject the appeal made by Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and to uphold the 900,000 Euro fine imposed on Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., and the legal process has been completed," the statement said.
