Uğurcan Çakır becomes a tax record holder

The Revenue Administration has announced the income tax record holders for 2024. National goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır, who transferred from Trabzonspor to Galatasaray, became the third highest taxpayer in Trabzon. It was stated that Çakır paid 22 million 714 thousand 624 TL in taxes on the income he declared during his time playing for Trabzonspor.

Çakır signed a 5-year contract with Galatasaray that will last until the end of the 2029-2030 season. The 29-year-old goalkeeper, who will receive guaranteed fees of 110 million TL, 120 million TL, 130 million TL, 140 million TL, and 150 million TL respectively during this period, continues to attract attention.

On the other hand, Trabzonspor Club President Ertuğrul Doğan also appeared on the list of tax record holders. Doğan, who ranks first in Corporate Tax with his company Oltan ve Köleoğlu Elektrik ve Enerji Üretimi Ticaret A.Ş., placed 23rd on the list of individual tax record holders and paid 4 million 298 thousand 104 TL in income tax for 2024.
