According to a report by Hürriyet Gazetesi; Aybaba, who asked fans to remain calm, stated that they are in talks with four managers abroad and that they will bring one of them to Istanbul shortly.

Emphasizing that they have discussed the club's structure and shared their thoughts on the system with candidates Bruno Genesio and Razvan Lucescu, Samet Aybaba continued as follows:

"Beşiktaş is preparing for the Kasımpaşa match with a strong tempo and ambition, as if starting the season anew. Currently, our players have clicked with our interim manager Serdar Topraktepe. Both sides understand each other. We observed this in the Hatayspor match. Beşiktaş fans will watch a more vigorous team with higher performance against Kasımpaşa."

Following his statement, Beşiktaş Football Teams General Coordinator Samet Aybaba spoke to Milliyet Gazetesi and denied the allegations regarding Razvan Lucescu. Aybaba emphasized that no talks had been held with the Romanian manager and that Lucescu was not among their managerial candidates.

Stating that the claims in the media do not reflect the truth, Aybaba announced that while Beşiktaş continues its search for a manager, Razvan Lucescu is not on their agenda in this context. Samet Aybaba noted that they only exchanged ideas with the Romanian manager's father, Mircea Lucescu.
