Vanspor defeats Bursaspor on penalties

In the 4th round of the Ziraat Turkish Cup, TFF 3rd League team Bursaspor and 2nd League team Vanspor faced off.

Played at the 100. Yıl Atatürk Stadium, the match ended in a 2-2 draw after regular time and extra time, with Vanspor defeating Bursaspor 7-6 in a penalty shootout to advance to the 5th round.

Van Spor's goals were scored by Harun Kavaklıdere and Batuhan Kör. Bursaspor's goals came from Barış Dalkıran and Ahmet İlhan Özek.

For Van Spor, Bekir Can Kara, Fuat Bavuk, Medeni Bingöl, Ali Doğan, Mert Örnek, Burak Kavlak, and Ensar Çavuşoğlu converted their penalties, while Erdem Seçgin failed to score.

For the green-and-whites, Ahmet İlhan Özek, Sedat Cengiz, Mücahit Can Akçay, Musa Çağıran, Furkan Sakı, and Bilal Güney converted their penalties, while Mehmet Yiğit and İlhan Depe missed theirs.

Van Spor's opponent in the 5th qualifying round of the Ziraat Turkish Cup will be determined following the draw to be held on Friday, December 6.
