VAR referee for the Turkish Cup final has been announced!
Tomasz Kwiatkowski from the Polish Football Association will serve as the VAR referee for the Ziraat Turkish Cup final, which will be played between Galatasaray and Trabzonspor on Wednesday, May 14.
The Central Referee Committee (MHK) has announced that Tomasz Kwiatkowski from the Polish Football Association will serve as the VAR for the Turkish Cup Final to be played between Trabzonspor and Galatasaray.
The whistle in the final match will be held by Cihan Aydın, who has been appointed as the center referee.
The statement from the MHK is as follows:
'Tomasz Kwiatkowski from the Polish Football Association will serve as the VAR in the 63rd Ziraat Turkish Cup Final, which will be played between Trabzonspor A.Ş. and Galatasaray A.Ş. at Gaziantep Stadium on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 20.45.
Kwiatkowski, who served as a VAR referee at the 2024 European Football Championship, was also included in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup VAR list announced last month.
Onur Özütoprak will serve as the AVAR in the Ziraat Turkish Cup Final.'
