Verstappen takes pole position at F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen will start from the front of the grid at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the 23rd and final leg of the Formula 1 World Championship season.
In the qualifying laps for the race, which will be held over 58 laps on the 5.3-kilometer Yas Marina Circuit, Verstappen secured the first grid spot with a time of 1:23.445.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who finished 0.139 seconds behind Verstappen, took second place, while McLaren Mercedes driver Oscar Piastri, who completed the track 0.337 seconds slower, took third.
The final race of the season, in which Dutch driver Verstappen has already secured his third consecutive championship, will start tomorrow at 16:00 TSI.
