Verstappen takes pole position at F1 Japanese Grand Prix
Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen will start the fourth race of the Formula 1 World Championship season from the first position.
In the qualifying laps for the race to be held at the 5.8-kilometer-long Suzuka International Racing Course in Suzuka, Max Verstappen secured the first grid spot with a time of 1:28.197.
The Dutch driver, who has won the "pole" position in all 4 races of the season so far, was followed by Mexican driver Sergio Perez (Red Bull) in second place, 0.066 seconds behind, while British driver Lando Norris (McLaren) took third place, 0.292 seconds behind the leader.
Red Bull's Dutch driver Max Verstappen reached victory in the first two races of the season. The third stage of the season, the Australian Grand Prix, was won by Ferrari's Spanish driver Carlos Sainz.
The Japanese Grand Prix will take place tomorrow at 08:00 TSI.
