Victims of the earthquake commemorated during the Gaziantep FK-Fenerbahçe match
During the Ziraat Turkish Cup match between Gaziantep FK and Fenerbahçe, carnations were thrown onto the pitch as the clock hit 4:17, commemorating those who lost their lives in the earthquake. Before the match, players from both teams took to the field for warm-ups wearing t-shirts that read, "We have not forgotten, we will not forget."

Match referee Burak Şeker paused the game at the exact minute and second that the first earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş occurred one year ago.

CARNATIONS THROWN ONTO THE PITCH
During this time, players from Gaziantep FK and Fenerbahçe, along with all the fans in the stands, commemorated those who lost their lives in the earthquake with applause. Carnations thrown from the stands onto the pitch created emotional moments.

The game, which was paused for approximately one minute, resumed following the referee's whistle. Meanwhile, players from both teams warmed up before the match wearing t-shirts that read, "We have not forgotten, we will not forget."
