Ederson is in Istanbul for Fenerbahçe! Here are the first images...
Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, with whom Fenerbahçe has reached a transfer agreement, has arrived in Istanbul.
As part of its squad planning for the 2025-2026 season, Fenerbahçe has bolstered its goal with the addition of Ederson from Manchester City. Ederson, who arrived in Istanbul from England on a private jet following a scheduled flight earlier in the day, was accompanied by Fenerbahçe Football Director Devin Özek.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper entered Istanbul through the General Aviation Terminal at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at approximately 01:30. After completing passport procedures, the Brazilian star greeted the yellow-and-navy fans who had come to welcome him. Ederson then boarded a vehicle waiting for him alongside Fenerbahçe officials and left the airport.
The experienced goalkeeper played in 40 matches last season for Manchester City, a club he has been with since 2017.
Ederson is expected to sign the contract binding him to the yellow-and-navy colors later today following his medical examinations.
