In the Trendyol Süper Lig, Beşiktaş defeated their visitors Çorum FK 6-2 at home. Dusan Vlahovic was one of the standout performers for the black-and-whites, scoring a hat-trick in the match.
Speaking after the game, Beşiktaş manager Vincenzo Italiano drew attention to the team's development process. The Italian coach said, "We are in the third week of the league; we are working hard, and we will improve as we work. We are very happy to have won."
Evaluating Vlahovic's performance, Italiano emphasized that the player's physical condition is the deciding factor. Italiano stated, "If Dusan Vlahovic's physical quality remains at a good level, he will continue like this. I was very insistent when talking to the club. I hope he continues this way. For a striker, what matters is scoring goals, and he was very successful in this match."
Touching upon the Fenerbahçe derby that Beşiktaş will play next week, Italiano pointed to the importance of the match. "The Fenerbahçe derby is very important for everyone. It is the fourth week of the league, and the season is still very long. We want to take a point or points. We want to continue our development by putting in a good performance," said Italiano, concluding his words by saying, "We want to show our worth in the derby. We want points, we want to win. It will also be my first derby. We want to do our best."
